These 2 special photos are near and dear to Harmony Wildlife:

Harmony was alerted earlier this year about a local goose in distress, her tongue entangled in landscape netting. Because she could easily fly away should we try to grab her, we chose to befriend her to make the eventual catch easier. Harmony Wildlife staff, Stacy the Super Volunteer, and a concerned neighbor earned her trust over several weeks by offering blueberries, spring mix, and mealworms. Always under the watchful eye of her devoted mate, she was eventually successfully freed from the netting, along with another member of the flock who had also become entangled. One of our favorite parts of this story is that she now appears to be sitting on eggs! We can always recognize “our” goose due to the small, healed hole in the webbing of one of her feet, captured beautifully in this portrait by Stacy Alger. Through this small act of persistence and compassion, we not only saved her from harm, but kept this lovely little family together. Time will tell if her babies have a taste for spring mix!

These two prints are matted, not framed.
